My name is Maiko Mou and I grew up surfing the Taharuu beach break in Tahiti. I have been surfing my whole life, photography and videography have been a great extension of that.
Look into the water
I am partnering with David Tuarau, a famous tahitian bodyboarder and Eric Schnitzler from Within Films to bring you incredible still water shots from in the barrel (fisheye) on the heaviest waves in Tahiti and from the channel. We work with any water-related sports : surfers, bodyboarders, paddle boarders, kite surfers… etc.

Look into the sky
We do aerial photography and filming with Mike Taero and Raitini Rey at Matarai. This is a new way to take images from the sky using remote controlled helicopters and multicopters. Thanks to them and my skills and studies in electronic engineering, we are really happy to create new machines to bring you the best images.
